Grant Amddifadedd Disgyblion 2018 – 2019

 

Derbyniodd yr ysgol £17,250 fel grant amddifadedd disgyblion Ysgol Gymraeg Trelyn y llynedd.

Ymgymerodd yr ysgol â’r gweithgareddau canlynol i gefnogi’r disgyblion sydd yn gwynebu her tlodi

ac amddifadedd :

  • Cefnogi rhaglen bontio ychwanegol ar y cyd gydag ysgolion y clwstwr ac Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhymni
  • Ariannu’n rhannol cynorthwywraig i gefnogi  a chyflwyno rhaglenni ymyrraeth yn yr ysgol gan gynnwys Rapid Readers, Dyfal Donc Cymraeg, Dyfal Donc Rhifedd a SAP er mwyn cryfhau sgiliau llythrennedd a Rhifedd

 

Mae cynlluniau grantiau yn cael eu harchwilio a’u gwerthuso gan y Bwrdd Llywodraethol gan ddilyn cyngor y GCA a’u monitro gan yr AAL.

 

2018 – 2019 Pupil Deprivation Grant

 

The total allocation of PDG received by Ysgol Gymraeg Trelyn last year was £17,250.

The school undertook the following activities in order to support pupils facing the challenges of poverty and deprivation:

  • Support an additional transition project with cluster schools and Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhymni in order to secure a smooth transition to Cwm Rhymni.
  • Partly fund a teaching assistant to implement literacy and numeracy intervention programmes – Rapid Readers, Dyfal Donc Reading, Catch Up Reading, Catch Up Numeracy and SAP
  •  

The school’s grant plans  are regularly scrutinised by the Governing Body, supported by advice from the EAS and monitored by the Local Authority.
